Application pre-requisite

Core Net Zero Categories (aligned with SBTi, GHG Protocol, TCFD/CDP)
1. Net Zero Leadership Award – Overall best performer across all criteria. ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • Proactive Net Zero initiatives defined for every vertical in the company
2. Best Net Zero Strategy – Large Enterprises – Comprehensive roadmap by large corporations. ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • Proactive Net Zero initiatives defined for every vertical in the company
  • Publicly listed company
3. Best Net Zero Strategy – SMEs & Startups – Scalable and innovative approaches by smaller companies. ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • If a MSME, Udyog certificate and if a start-up company then Start-up India certificate
4. Excellence in Scope 3 Engagement – Transforming value chains and supplier/customer ecosystems. ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • Proactive Net Zero initiatives defined for every vendor
5. Innovation in Net Zero Technologies – Deploying climate tech, AI, CCUS, hydrogen, etc. ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • If a MSME, Udyog certificate, if a start-up company then Start-up India certificate or a
    publicly listed company
6. Transparency & Reporting Excellence – Outstanding disclosure (CDP, TCFD, ISSB, GRI). ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • All reports available for review and audited
7. Renewable Energy Transition Champion – Achieving 100% renewable energy/RE100 leadership ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • Utilizing renewable energy for 40%+ or majority of its requirements
8. Offsets & Removals Integrity Award – Responsible, high-quality offset/removal usage. ▼

Application pre-requisite:

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • Conducting offsets/carbon removal activities with Gold or Vera Certificates
  • NGOs or social enterprises are applicable
9. Just Transition & Inclusive Net Zero Award – Ensuring social equity, community well being. ▼

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
  • Proactive Net Zero initiatives defined for every vertical in the company
10. Net Zero Trailblazer Award – Bold, pioneering initiatives with systemic impact. ▼

  • Registered company with minimum 5 years of operations
  • Demonstrated successful initiatives implementing decarbonisation
Circular Economy & Resource Efficiency Categories
1. Circular Economy Leadership Award ▼

For companies that embed circularity across product design, operations, and business models, reducing resource use and waste while supporting Net Zero goals.

2. Circular Supply Chain Champion ▼

Recognizing organizations actively engaging suppliers in material reuse, recycling, take-back systems, and closed-loop logistics.

3. Circular Innovation Award ▼

Highlighting innovative technologies, platforms, or models that enable waste-to resource solutions, product-as-a-service, or circular marketplaces.

4. Waste-to-Value Transformation Award ▼

For organizations that have successfully converted waste streams (industrial, plastic, e-waste, food waste, etc.) into valuable secondary resources or renewable energy.

5. Product Life Cycle Excellence Award ▼

Recognizing leadership in life cycle thinking (design for reuse, repair, refurbishment, remanufacturing) to extend product/service lifespan and reduce emissions.

6. Water & Resource Circularity Award ▼

For companies pioneering circular water systems, industrial symbiosis, and sustainable resource loops contributing to both Net Zero and resilience.
